In a world filled with uncertainty and competing voices, how can we stand firm in our faith? We explore the answer to that question in our sermon series, "Truth in Trying Times", on the books of 2 Peter and Jude. These small but powerful letters equip us to trust God’s Word, resist false teaching, and persevere in our faith with confidence in God’s promises. What you believe about God shapes how you live. The question is, do you believe what is right and true? Systematic theology is not only for seminarians or long-time Christians--it's for all of us. Regardless of how long you have been a Christian, this class will help you to grow in your faith by growing your understanding of God through His Word. This class is the first of two parts led by Pastor Dan and others. 

This class takes place Sunday mornings 8:30-9:30 am for the months of February and March.  

On Sunday, February 9th, we will bless our LBC college students and service members by sending them a care package full of treats from our congregation.  Here is how you can help:

• Homemade Treats:  Bring cookies, brownies, Rice Krispie Treats, or other goodies.   Please divide them up into 15 or more small plastic bags, and drop them off in the foyer.  We’ll put one of your bags in each box we’re sending out.

• Candy bars, gum, and store-bought treats are also welcome.

has been part of LBC and is now serving in the military or is

attending college.

After church on February 9th, we will pack the treats into boxes, include a personalized note, and then mail them to our young people.  These boxes will be such a welcome surprise to our students and will create an opportunity to share their goodies with friends and talk about church and the saving power of Christ. 

WHAT:  Parents' Night Out

WHEN:  Friday, February 14, 6:00 - 9:00 pm

WHY:  LBC Youth Group would like to serve you by caring for your children so you can have an evening out!

WHO:  Bring babies and children up to 6th grade

There will be games, crafts, singing and food will be provided.

The night out is free, but donations are welcome to help raise funds for the Youth Group's Summer Mission Trip to Miami.

Sign up for a meet-and-greet gathering to connect with 5-7 others from LBC. All are welcome! Simply connect for two meals over two months. Once you sign up, the Supper Club organizer will reach out with your Supper Club location based on your availability.  Sign up here!

Join us the first and third Thursday of every month for corporate prayer. Our next meeting will be January 23rd. We will meet in the Library from 6:45 pm until 7:45 pm.  Everyone is welcome!

The 5x5x5 Bible Reading plan covers the entire New Testament in one year. You will read one chapter per day, five days per week. This approach allows you to take your time and reflect on each chapter, while still making steady progress towards your goal. By the end of the year, you'll have a deeper understanding of the teachings and stories contained within the New Testament.  You can find more information HERE.

Our college ministry is called SPUR. We meet for Bible teaching, worship, fellowship, and special events. 
 

SPUR will meet on Sunday evenings from 5:00 - 7:30 pm beginning January 12th.

Another year has started at Brookdale which means our college ministries weekly gatherings will start on campus in just a few weeks. One way we get students excited about these bible studies is by offering free lunches to them! For this we are asking for your help again. You will find a QR code on the bulletin board in the foyer or you can access the sign-up HERE.  It will lead you to a meal train website where you can sign up to donate meals or money so the food can be covered and we can be more focused on every other part of the weekly gatherings. Are you 55 or older and looking for community with other believers in the same season of life?  Connect 55 is a new ministry looking to provide opportunities to connect and to glorify the name of Jesus by gathering and "doing life together."  We desire to form and strengthen relationships and to encourage one another by using our gifts and talents to serve together. ​​

One of our members, Evelyn Wells, has generously provided addiction recovery resources to us and has dropped off materials in our church library. These materials are now available for anyone who may need them. Evelyn, who is a doctor, is also available to speak with anyone who has further questions or needs guidance on this issue, She volunteers in the addiction recovery unit at the hospital where she works. Thank you, Evelyn, for making this support available to our congregation. 

LBC Kids is now offered for children Nursery through 5th grade during the 10:00 service. We will continue to provide resources for those who cannot attend in person.  Click HERE for online resources.

New Jersey Blood Services would like to thank you for the life-saving that happens through donations given at LBC.  In 2024 LBC hosted 12 blood drives collecting a total of 550 units, an average of 46 units per drive.  And 1650 patients may have been benefited from the blood collected at Lincroft Bible Church.   New Jersey Blood Services will be at LBC again on Tuesday, February 25th from 1:00-7:00 pm.  Appointments are recommended.  For more information and to schedule an appointment click HERE.

TWBS - Thursday Women's Bible Study

TWBS (Thursday Women's Bible Study) meets from 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. on Thursday mornings.   They will continue their study, "Christ in the Old Testament" beginning Thursday, January 9th.  You can find more information on the Women's Ministry page.

Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) believes that people discover their true purpose and identity by knowing God through His Word. That is why BSF offers free, in-depth Bible studies in community for people of all ages around the world. We offer a satellite group for men at LBC that meets on Tuesday nights, 7PM at the church.  The study of the book of "Revelation" will begin September 10th. You can sign up for the study HERE. Transformed Discipleship is not just a Bible Study. It is a group based upon accountability, transparency, and commitment and most importantly, a desire to become more like Christ. The men  meet the third Sunday of each month at 8:15 a.m. in the Youth Room near the Skylight Area.  They will begin meeting again on September 15th.
